As the Administrative Service Organization (ASO) for the Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership (CT BHP), ValueOptions® is an integral part of the Connecticut behavioral health care delivery system. We've developed collaborative relationships with State agencies and community stakeholders to improve services for 585,000 Medicaid recipients. Our programs value peoples' strengths and self-direction, enabling members to live with a sense of mastery, competence, and hope. At their root, recovery, resiliency, and wellness are more than the result of medical and psychiatric interventions.
We believe members should receive services in the community, when appropriate, and that recovery embraces whole person wellness. The Partnership helps members function independently, achieve a better quality of life, and remain in their homes and communities, avoiding unnecessary hospital and institutional care.
